Led Bangladesh Teachers Delegations in Sub-regional, Regional, International and Global Conferences, Seminars and Workshops: 14 times since 1973 and visited more than 50countries including Pakistan, India, Mexico, USA, Indonesia, Australia, Germany, France, Sweden, The Netherlands, The Philippines, Japan, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, Srilanka, Nepal, Greece, Spain, Zimbabwe, Male, Ethiopia, Iran, Hong Kong, Thailand, Brazil, Belgium etc .
Attended government sponsored cultural exchange tour in Germany 1974 and during Shahid President Ziaur Rahman’s state visit to Indonesia in 1978.
Played key role in organizing for the first time in Bangladesh World Teachers Day in October 1995 and First National Teachers Day on January 19 in 2002 and played key role in declaring January 19 as National Teachers Day.
Took active part in 1971 Liberation war through mobilization world teachers community and received certificate of appreciation as valiant Freedom Fighter [Regd# 927] and honoured with lucrative government job under First Special Superior Service in 1973 but did not join giving preference to serve the nation through noble teaching mission.
Socio Political Involvement:
Actively connected with socio-political and democratic activities and movements for upliftment and emancipation and poverty elevation including removal of illiteracy from our body politic since student life and committed to continue these humanitarian voluntary services.
President: Anti-Drug Movement-ADM, Bangladesh. (Reg with Ministry of Social Welfare and Directorate of Narcotics Control.)
Suffered imprisonment by farcical summary Martial Law court for opposing imposition of Martial Law in 1983 and further in 1986 under infamous special Power Act of 1974 for organizing teachers’ movement in 1986.
He got support from ex-prime minister Khaleda zia of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) for establishing Non-government Teachers Employees Welfare Trust and Retirement Benefit board.
As well he selected multiple times as Senate member and Syndicate members of Dhaka University, Jahangirnagar University, National University under BNP supported White Panel
